Getting the book to you.

1. Where we deliver

At launch, direct website orders are available to UK delivery addresses. Overseas direct delivery is not offered unless a suitable option and price are specifically shown at checkout.

2. Delivery cost and service

UK postage and packing for a direct order of Book 1 is £3.95. We use Royal Mail Tracked 48. Tracking information will be provided where available through the live order/dispatch process.

3. Dispatch and delivery timing

We aim to dispatch in-stock direct orders within 2 working days (Monday to Friday, excluding UK bank holidays). Royal Mail currently aims to deliver Tracked 48 items in 2–3 working days after dispatch for most UK addresses. That Royal Mail timeframe is an aim, not a guaranteed delivery date.

Unless another period is agreed with you, your statutory rights concerning delivery time continue to apply.

4. Check your delivery address

Please check the address before placing an order. If you spot a mistake afterwards, email craig@averagemanworkbooks.co.uk as quickly as possible. Once a parcel has been handed to Royal Mail, changing the delivery address may not be possible.

5. Responsibility while the parcel is on its way

For a normal direct consumer order where we arrange the carrier, responsibility for the goods remains with us until they are delivered to you or to a person you have identified to receive them. If tracking shows a problem, contact us rather than being left to resolve a seller-side delivery claim yourself.

6. Delays, missing parcels, damage or wrong items

If a direct order is delayed, does not arrive, arrives damaged or contains the wrong item, email craig@averagemanworkbooks.co.uk with your order details. We will investigate and arrange the remedy required by your consumer rights.

7. Amazon orders

Orders placed through Amazon are packed, delivered and supported through Amazon’s ordering system rather than this direct-order shipping policy.
